Every product page has full specs.
What is flocking print?
A print technique that creates a velvet-like raised texture on the fabric. More refined and durable than standard puff print. It's our signature.
How do your sizes run?
The tee is oversized with drop shoulders. Go with your normal size. Check the Size Guide for exact measurements.
How should I care for my clothes?
Cold wash at 30°C. Turn inside out before washing. Skip the dryer. The flocking print lasts longer that way.
What is Masaya Studios?
A Stockholm-based brand built for climbers, runners, and people who move outside. Named after the Masaya volcano in Nicaragua — one of the few with a permanent lava lake. Still erupting.
What do the coordinates mean?
11.984° N. 86.161° W. — the exact location of the Masaya volcano. That's where the name comes from.
Where are your products made?
Production is in China through selected manufacturers. Every item is quality-checked before shipping. We work with specific techniques like flocking, vintage wash, and heavyweight cotton. Not off-the-shelf blanks.
Do you have a physical store?
No. We sell through masayastudios.se. We show up at selected events and locations — follow us on Instagram to know when.
Do you do sales or discounts?
No. We produce smaller runs and sell through instead of overproducing and discounting.
What's your approach?
We don't use the word sustainable as a marketing label.
What we do:
- Heavyweight cotton that lasts beyond one season.
- Rail freight as standard shipping from production.
- Three products instead of thirty.
- Smaller runs that sell through.
No overproduction, no offsetting to make up for it.
Can I stock Masaya in my store?
We work selectively with retailers that fit the brand — climbing gyms, curated outdoor stores, independent design shops. Email sales@masayastudios.se with info about your store.
How do I reach you?
Email us via the Contact page. We reply within 24 hours.
Can I collaborate with Masaya?
If you climb, run, or move outside and think there's a fit — reach out. We don't do templated partnerships. Be specific about what you have in mind.
